With over four decades of experience in the Alabama real estate market, Andy has been a licensed professional since 1978. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Marketing and UAB with a degree in Accounting, Andy currently serves as a key player at Southpace Properties. He previously refined his expertise alongside John Lauriello at Johnson, Rast & Hays Real Estate.
Andy specializes in large-scale land acquisitions and complex development projects. He notably steered the planning, zoning, and platting of the Chateau Crest subdivision in Vestavia Hills and Abbey Brook in Hoover. Beyond traditional real estate, he is a recognized expert in the marine industry, having managed the full lifecycle, from acquisition through sale, of premier marine facilities on Smith Lake, Lake Martin, Logan Martin, and Aeromarine in Birmingham.
An active leader in the community, Andy is a cancer survivor and former board member of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is an active member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. He remains deeply involved in Alabama athletics as an officer of the Red Elephant Club and serves as President of Kaufmann & Associates, Inc., the state’s oldest promotional marketing firm.
Andy focuses on land, industrial, and both landlord and tenant representation. Through his extensive experience and deep understanding of the real estate market, he is exceptionally qualified to serve a broad spectrum of client needs.
