Retail Brokers Network Names Principal Bryan Holt New VP of Finance
Southpace Properties Principal Bryan Holt has been named VP of Finance on the Retail Brokers Network (RBN) 2017 Executive Committee. In this capacity, Holt will ascend through the committee to the position of the Presidency in 2021.
The RBN, one of the nation’s largest retail real estate networking groups, announced the formation of the new Executive Committee to help facilitate RBN’s ongoing operations. The announcement was made following the organization’s mid-year meeting in Charleston, SC.
The Executive Committee will be responsible for overseeing the Tenant, Restaurant and Investment Sales Councils as well as the Regional Directors, marketing RBN to customers and new member offices, implementing systems to increase activity within the network, financial management, and planning RBN’s participation in ICSC RECon.
“The Retail Brokers Network has been invaluable in the emergence of Southpace Properties as a leader in retail real estate in Alabama,” said Holt. “The RBN members from around the region and across the country have shared their best-practices and referred business to Southpace over the last several years and we are much stronger and better connected for having been a part of the RBN. I am very proud to serve on the Executive Committee as the VP of Finance and I look forward to helping the Network do more for our members and their clients.”
Holt has more than 19 years of experience in commercial real estate. His focus as a Principal at Southpace Properties includes overseeing tenant representation and third-party leasing and brokerage in the Retail Division of the company. Holt holds the designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS).
Holt is an active affiliate in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the National Association of Realtors. He is an active member of the Alabama CCIM chapter, serving as the Alabama CCIM Chapter President for 2016.
According to Debbie Currier, President of RBN, “The RBN represents over 600 retail specialists across the US that help individuals and companies meet their real estate goals locally and nationally and our newly formed Executive Committee will provide the leadership structure that will help make RBN even more successful as we continue to grow.” She added, “I’m thrilled to welcome the Executive Committee members and I’m eager to work with them to accomplish our goals for 2017.”
